How to speed up domain propagation

The DNS propagation process can take anywhere from a couple of hours to days. This is due to factors out of your control, as all Internet Service Providers and DNS Root Servers have their own settings.

However, if you’re looking to speed up the proccess, there is one thing you can do:

Define or modify an A record pointing from your hostname to the new destination IP address. After that, establish a minimal Time To Live (TTL) for that DNS record. We recommend going with 5 minutes.

This can definitely improve propagation time, even if we cannot accurately predict the exact numbers of hours it will take.
